Patented S Series Construction
- True double wall hinge-line for maximum strength
- Rippled hinge line with reinforced ribs to distribute pressure over a larger area
- Box-like profile, with higher ribs to strengthen center load weight capacity, plus a higher vertical edge for increased rigidness
- PRT lids offer center load strength which far exceeds ANSI requirements
Hingeline
- Patented undulating seam line with 5 tack offs per knuckle hinge to spread force
- 25” of the 35” edge is hinge line
- Seamless knuckles that hold up to 2,000 pounds each
- Designed to allow hinge movement which allows lid to lay flat behind container preventing damage
Material Process
- Made from a High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) resulting in our lids being crack resistant in the most extreme weather
- Blow-molded to increase flexibility and to concentrate material thickness where most needed
